Piano rebuilding including bridge replacement, pinblock replacement, restringing, complete action replacement, ivory key and plastic keytop replacement.

Max Littlejohns, RPT is known as the Piano Professor. He does piano refinishing, tuning, moving, storing, estimates, appraisals, repairs, regulation, voicing or tone regulation, touch-up cabinet repair, replacement of ivory or plastic keytops, re-stringing, hammer replacement, soundboard and bridge repair, and complete rebuilding and restoration back to its original condition or better. He also install humidity control systems and 'Piano Disc' systems whereby the piano plays by itself from a disc. He has owned the business for almost 30 years and is a fully qualified member of the " PIANO TECHNICIAN'S GUILD " having passed all their examinations with honours, hence the RPT designation [Registered Piano Technician] after his name.He services the Greater Toronto Area and can provide recommendations for his meticulous work.

Academy Piano Rebuilders provides piano repair and rebuilding services in the Saskatoon area. Company owner and piano technician is Billy Walker an Associate Member of the Piano Technicians' Guild with more than 25 years experience in piano technology. Billy Walker has been servicing and tuning pianos since 1979 and operating Academy Piano Rebuilders since 1981 with complete rebuilding facilities where he has rebuilt hundreds and repaired thousands of pianos from small uprights to concert grands. The shop has a large inventory of piano parts for immediate use as well as access through piano supply houses for unusual components.
